Preschool (3-4 yrs)
Preschool Creative Movement/Ballet/Tap introduces young children to the joy of dance! Students enrolled in this class take once a week for 45 minutes. This program is 36-weeks beginning in September and ending with our recital at the beginning of June. Our carefully planned curriculum is presented in a fun and entertaining way, enhancing coordination, musicality and creativity. Dancers will not only earn how to move creatively on their own, but they will also learn basic ballet positions/terminology and how to do basic tap steps, such as shuffle! Dancers learn two routines (tap and ballet) which they will have the opportunity to showcase at community performances and our year-end recital. Dancers have two costumes which they will wear at all performances, class pictures, and recital.
Dance has played such an integral role in molding me into who I am today. I have taken many life lessons and values learned from dance and have applied them in my daily life. I am not sure where I'd be today without the bundle of self- confidence, time management skills, responsibility, importance of physical activity gained from growing up with dance.
