It is hard to believe, but summer IS on its way! NDA is excited to offer many summer camps, classes, and intensives!

Our “Camps” (ages 3 & up) are planned to a “T!” Every minute of each day is planned to teach, inspire, and entice imagination. Students stretch their bodies and minds by dancing, singing, reading, and creating art projects. Best of all, they have a special performance planned for you and your dancer is sure to make new friends!
Our camps include: Princess Camp (ages 3 to 5), Dora Camp (ages 3 to 5), Fresh Beat Band Camp (ages 3 to 8), TAP Camp (ages 7 & up), and Pop Star Camp (ages 5-12). Each camp takes place Mon-Thurs for a week.

Our “Intensives” (ages 7 & up) are for those with previous dance experience. This summer we are offering a Ballet Intensive/Nutcracker Workshop and a Competition Team Instensive. The Ballet Intensive/Nutcracker Workshop will focus on flexibility, conditioning, and technique. Dancers will learn pieces from The Nutcracker, which they will have the opportunity to perform during the 2012 Holiday season. If you are looking to improve your dance technique and have a blast, don’t miss the Ballet Intensive/Nutcracker Workshop!

The Competition Team Intensive is for those dancers who wish to audition for one of NDA’s award-winning Competition Teams. Dancers will spend four consecutive days studying various dance styles: tap, ballet, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, & contemporary and also take stretch & conditioning classes along with Yoga and Pilates. Auditions take place on the last day of the Intensive.

Our “Classes” include: Parent/Toddler (ages 18 months to 3 years), Preschool Creative Movement (ages 3 to 4), and a Competition Preparation Class (ages 7 & up). These classes take place once a week for four weeks.

Registration NOW OPEN for 8-week Classes!

Winter is here and that means we’re gearin’ up for our exciting, NEW 8-week session, which begins January 12, 2012!

We are excited to offer some new classes this winter, including Princess Camps with a special performance at Northfield Hospital, Parent/Toddler classes, African dance for all ages, and our ever popular Adult Zumba and Tap classes!

Our compassionate and experienced faculty of adult professionals are sure to make this session a hit! It is important to register early as we expect many of these classes to fill quickly! Register today via phone, email, mail, or in person.

NOW Zumba Mondays AND Fridays!

Now you can join us TWICE a week! We are excited to announce our Friday Zumba class beginning October 7th, 6-6:45pm! We will continue our Zumba class on Mondays 8:30-9:15pm! Both classes are instructed by the amazing Melissa Sharpe!

It is hard to believe that fall is almost here! NDA is excited to announce that we have expanded our Recreational Program this year! We have restructured our classes and offer multiple class days/time for each class to accommodate your busy schedule!

We are thrilled to have a compassionate and experienced faculty of adult professionals, including some new staff members! Some of our faculty highlights include: Aimee -BA in Elementary & Early Childhood Education who will be working with our preschoolers, ballet students, and combo classes. Erin – Eight years of professional performance experience including performing with Sesame Street Live! and Curious George Live! will be working with combo classes, hip hop classes, and our competitive students.

NDA’s Fall Open House will take place September 6 & 7, 5-8pm! Register for classes, meet our instructors, get fitted for shoes, and check out our NEW Dancewear Boutique!
