Austen Browne
|
Austen
has studied dance for 15 years at Summit School of Dance and The Summit Dance Shoppe.
Studying with The Summit Invitational for two years of high school, and competing
regionally and nationally for 11 years. He has also danced with various companies
and ensembles in the Twin Cities, including "Bright Lights/Dance in the Dark" preformed
at The Southern Theatre. He enjoyed performing in "Crazy For You" and "Oklahoma",
two of Wayzata High School’s musicals. Currently Austen is performing as a company
member with the Out On a Limb Dance Studio, based in St. Paul. He also studies filmmaking
at MCTC. He takes pride in his hard work and dedication to dance, which has gotten
him to where he is now.

Allie Causin
|
Allie
has been studying dance for 17 years under many different instructors, including
nationally known Derek Mitchell, Svetlana Todinova, and Willy Shives. She has been
teaching in the metro area since 2002. She is currently a company member with Out
On A Limb Dance Company in St. Paul, and has been dancing and performing with them
since 2001. She has been performing throughout the Twin Cities since 1999 including
the Russian Moscow Ballet, the MN Dance Festival, and the MN Fringe Festival. The
best part of dance for her is when all the hard work, time, and effort pay off dancing
on stage, and becoming completely enveloped in the moment. "There are shortcuts

Carisa Drews
|
Carisa has been
studying dance for 23 years and has been teaching dance in the metro area since
2000. She has trained with nationally known artists such as Leslie Daly, Ray Leaper,
Desiree Robins, and also studied in New York at Broadway Dance Center. She currently
performs as a company member at Out on a Limb Dance Company, based in St. Paul.
Carisa has been honored with many awards as a dancer and a choreographer nationally
and regionally; some of these include the “Just for Kix” Outstanding Choreography
Award as an instructor, and also as a dancer, the first overall placement in Chicago,
IL. “Dancing and performing is a true release of all of my emotions; passing that
on to my students is my goal and dream.”

Nora Felton
|
Nora Felton Nora has been baton twirling since the age of five when her father finally
bought a real baton (as opposed to a stick) for her to twirl. She took lessons from
the head twirler at Albert Lea High School soon after. Later, she twirled for the
Alden-Conger Marching Band and twirled fire batons for her football half-time shows
for five years. She has taught Community Education classes in several communities
and even gave a presentation for Green Giant Co. regarding the use of baton twirling
to relieve the effects of carpal-tunnel disease.

Ellen Keane
|
Ellen is the Co-Artistic
Director of Keane Sense of Rhythm (KSR) tap company, with the mission to preserve,
present, create, and expand the boundaries of American Tap Dance. Ellen has danced
professionally since 1981. She has appeared in the nationally syndicated show “Dance
Fever” and toured nationally as the lead in “Muppet Babies Live.” She continues
to teach tap for universities and dance schools around the Midwest. She is sought
after as an instructor at music and dance festivals in the region. Choreography
credits include over a dozen musicals for high schools, community, and professional
theatres and she has created award winning choreography for her students. Ellen’s
work can be seen all over the world!

Kristin Lauenstein
|
Kristin's
background includes a B.B.A. Degree in Business Management & Entrepreneurship with
a Minor in Dance from the University of Wisconsin. She has instructed dance for
14 years in studios throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin. In addition, Kristin has
13 years of studio training in tap, jazz, ballet, baton twirling, and gymnastics.
Kristin has held many leadership positions in dance companies and teams throughout
the Midwest.

Faith Mitchell
|
Faith
holds a B.A. in Dance from San Francisco State University and a Masters of Education
from the University of Minnesota – Duluth. She has instructed and choreographed
dance for a variety of dance companies and studios, including The Reif Performing
Arts Center, Stage Coach Theatre and Arts School, many local twin cities studios,
including Northfield Dance Academy. Faith has performed professionally with Imagine
Dance Company and is former Director of The Reif Performing Arts Center. Faith is
also a STOTT certified Pilates instructor. Faith continues to judge dance competitions
and is involved in arts administration as a member of the MN State Arts Board.

Lynn Ziegler
|
Lynn
has been dancing since she was very young and trained in tap and ballet. She has
taught locally for many years and loves children! Lynn continues to be involved
in the "dance world" through her family’s involvement in professional dance companies
in the Twin Cities, including the Keane Sense of Rhythm Tap Ensemble.

Maria Ziegler
|
Maria has been
dancing for 15 years and trained in various dance schools and companies in the Twin
Cities Metro Area. She has danced and performed with professional dance companies
including the Continental Ballet Company and Keane Sense of Rhythm Tap Ensemble.
Currently, Maria is a member of the St. Cloud State Nationals Dance Team and is
pursing a B.B.A. Degree in Business and Minor in Dance.
