Hi! My name is Kristin Lauenstein and I'm the Owner/Director
of Northfield Dance Academy (NDA), LLC.
My background includes a B.B.A. Degree in Business Management & Entrepreneurship
with a Minor in Dance from the University of Wisconsin.
I have instructed dance for 16 years in studios throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin.
In addition, I have 13 years of studio training in tap, jazz, ballet, baton twirling,
and gymnastics and have held many leadership positions in dance companies and teams
throughout the Midwest.

Dance has played such an integral role in molding me into who I am today. I have
taken many life lessons and values learned from dance and have applied them in my
daily life. I am not sure where I'd be today without the bundle of self- confidence,
time management skills, responsibility, importance of physical activity gained from
growing up with dance. It is my goal that all NDA students not only receive the
most quality dance education, but also take life lessons and values with them to
use in their daily lives.

It is important to us that dancers are able to use their dance education in the
future. A strong technical foundation in dance is priceless. We hire adult instructors
that have or are working toward degrees in Dance Education or have extensive professional
dance experience and training. Our instructors are friendly, communicate effectively
with parents, and are responsible individuals.
